As you may already be aware, operational costs across the hosting industry have been rising significantly due to increasing electricity prices, ongoing hardware shortages, and higher infrastructure expenses.

Despite these challenges, ProlimeHost remains committed to keeping the pricing of your existing dedicated servers unchanged. We have been absorbing these additional costs in the hope that market conditions will stabilize and operational expenses will eventually return to more manageable levels

However, one area where costs have become increasingly difficult to absorb is payment processing. Payment gateways such as PayPal continue to impose substantial transaction fees, currency conversion charges, and other processing costs.

After careful consideration, we have decided to introduce an additional 5% processing fee on all payments made through PayPal, effective January 1, 2027.

What does this mean for you?

• Existing Dedicated Server Pricing: No increase. Your current server pricing remains unchanged.
• PayPal Payments: An additional 5% processing fee will apply starting January 1, 2027.
• Credit Card Payments: We encourage clients to switch to direct credit card payments to avoid the additional PayPal fee.
• Bank Transfers: Clients may also choose bank transfers as an alternative payment method.

We are providing this notice well in advance to give our clients sufficient time to review their payment methods and make any necessary changes before the new fee takes effect.
